I have the 2009 Regal Commodore 2665. Tropical storm Debby did a number on my shore power cable. It needs to be replaced.
But when I look in the stern compartment, the cord goes into a prefab hole, and I cannot see inside or where it goes. In fact, a few nuts hold the cord in place. I cannot see where it ends. Any idea what type of shore power cable I need, or how to get to it?

It was hardwired without a socket on my 2002. Assume it's the same on yours based on how you're describing it. If it were me I'd put a socket into the boat and allow to use a standard cord going forward.
A marine 30A shore power cord could be used, cut off the female end and attach it where the current one does. Wiring wise it should just be 10 gauge wire inside the marine cable. Hot neutral ground, which in other applications would be called 10/2, but for some reason most places selling a shore power cord for this call it 10/3.
When you say a few nuts do you mean wire nuts or do you mean crimps and stainless steel nuts are holding the wire? The former isn't allowed in ABYC code.
