question about overall length of Regal 1900 ES

Probably pulling the trigger on a used 1900 ES on Monday, and his will be my first boat.  After further research it looks like the overall length of 19'10'' might include the swim platform.  Am I correct on this and is this standard practice with other comparable brands like Sea Ray and Chaparral?  Any clue what the actual boat length is without the platform?
