Thanks for the pictures! So are any of the pictures of a boat you are purchasing? I like the XO models as they give you a lot more room in the boat proper and the water testing area where they are simulating heavy rain on a hardtop! Saw some old posts about the sun roof glass seal leaking so maybe they have that under control especially with this "rain" test"? Maybe Jeff (or Admin) can help you out with posting multiple pictures in one post?

No new boat in my immediate future but I did look at the last 53' footer that Regal had in their showroom as they no longer make that model. I am very happy with my 3860 and need to stop thinking about going bigger; at least for a few years! Happy Boating!!!!

We are looking at 33, 35 or 38 in size. We are looking at the outboards as well, I'm concerned that the design is going to change soon. There is a lot of wasted space where the inboard engines where, the hull design hasn't changed. But, the Aft cabin could change dramatically with some of that extra space.

Two weeks ago I was thinking about, just lost all my money....... Just my experience = You dont lose any money unless you sell the funds (unless you lost the money in Vegas?) ! Your losses are just on paper unless you are selling them? In my case I have to take out what is called a RMD every year the year I turn 70.5 years old so I have to take out approximately 3.25% the first year and it goes up every year after that. If I dont take it out there is a 50% penalty on amount not taken out!! Interesting conversation on the Regal Factory Tour? Maybe we can switch to the general discussions if you want to continue with the down turn in the market? Advice from my financial advisor = Just stay where you are, dont try to out time the market up / down. I have been listening to his advice for 14 years and so far he has been correct. The POTUS says dont worry, market will come back? With his advice I am not worrying Thanks

I saw a joke email going around that basically says "I have 4 bottles of hand sanitizer and 26 rolls of toilet paper. Anyone want to trade for a 50' boat?" It was funnier with the images but I just had to share.

I don’t think the 33 or 38 design is going to change soon. Especially the 38 since it just came out. Also the 33 and 38 are offered in i/o or outboard so I don’t think regal will change the hull to increase cabin space for example with outboards because they would lose more of the fresh water market that seems to prefer I/O and the large swim platform. In terms of the 35, I really think a design change is coming soon. Having said all that if the market stays depressed and boat sales fall apart there may not be many changes in the near future.

Regal told me the same thing you mentioned. The outboard design is new and the hull is designed for outboard motors. It was nice looking at all three models at the factory together.

It was easy to post the picture, but I could only get one picture per post because of picture size.
Thanks

I am anxious to get back to Orlando for another factory tour. It is a great experience. Did you see any upcoming open bow boats? I am hoping for an LS8 or LS9. I have always been and I/O boat owner but I really like the SAV series and would like to spend time exploring that boat. Our dealer has one and I am afraid to go for a ride...I may end up signing a sales agreement sooner than I should. 🤔
