I picked up a new Garmin 94SV that I plan on installing as soon as the weather gets warmer. I'm looking to see if there are any repair or support manuals that will help with running the wiring from the console. Getting the wiring from the transducer to the console would seem to be the most difficult. I don't see any panels that I could open to get in the hull.
The repair manual would also help with some of the other repairs I have to knock out before she goes back in.
Thanks,

Invest in a wire fishing coil. You'll have to run the cable from the ER along the starboard gunnel to the dash area. While you're doing that, run a second line along with it so that if you ever need to run another cable, you have the line to pull it with.

I just posted the links to the owners manuals in the "manuals" section, but they won't give you much help in how to run the transducer wires. Assuming you will be locating the transducer in front of the hull step ( in the forward bilge pump area) you can remove the forward wall panel sections in the mid berth which will give you access to make the wire run from the forward bilge up into the helm. Good Luck.

How do you guys know what boat the OP has, I dont see anything in his post indicating that? Guess the owners manuals are generic regardless of wht vessel but what panels to remove to get at hull/engine room?
OP, welcome to the forum!

OK, thanks, sorry, still looking for the pertinent info in the salutation! I do spent more time composing my responses than searching for what model/year/propulsion system/location/ etc. I will try to be more observant in the future

How do you get the panel off the midship berth? I assume the upholstery buttons hide screws or are they the fasteners?
