New to the forum and new regal 26xo coming next month. Anyone have any good/bad stories with that model? Moving up from a 23 Sailfish center console. Thanks in advance

Welcome! Nice to have you on board! Could you please create a salutation with your location, vessel year/ Model, gas or diesel powered, and type of drive (OB/I/O/V Drive Etc.) This info really makes it much easier to respond to any questions you may have without having to ask for this info in a response. ADMIN= Can you possibly ask for this info before admitting new members and advise how new members can accomplish this? Of course, you may want to say none of this info will be used in anything other than for making it better to respond to posts on this forum. i am sure you are aware of all the technicalities of anyone providing personal info that will be use illicitly for any other reason? I am not a lawyer so dont know how to give any advice other that what I just posted.

I am taking delivery in the spring. Where are you located? We are in NY. There is not a lot of feedback out there from 26xo owners yet.

Welcome aboard! My salutation indicates where I am located, the lake we are wet docked year round on, the model and year of our vessel, type of propulsion systems, etc. Can you also create a salutation with your relative info. Would help a lot in ongoing posts. Are you christine or captnobar to far? Thanks

Yes, about all my comments of being from WI but last 34 years in GA, we had 4" of snow yesterday, whole city shut down but lake still didnt freeze

Yes, about all my comments of being from WI but last 34 years in GA, we had 4" of snow yesterday, whole city shut down but lake still didnt freeze Jeez guys even the moderator has no clue about the current model lines. Your XO is going to be sweet! So your single 300 Yamaha will put you at a top speed of 41-44mph but you'll be running 89 octane. Hopefully you got the bow thruster option as the 26 is tall and that style really can swing with the wind. Get ready to fight mildew. Desiccant bags do ok if you keep them fresh but I'd recommend a small dehumidifier if you have shore power available. Plug it right to the 110v and set on a mid humidity setting just to knock down the high level of moisture that leads to the musty smell.

Thanks for the recommendation on the dehumidifier. I’ve had express style boats before and never had an issue with mildew/mold but I’ll keep an eye out for sure
