I do recall reading about you using plexiglass; I am always nervous that my center window vent will get damaged when it is in the open position with people on the bow. I have some relief since I had read your solution of using plexiglass some time back. Regal did not have a windshield, Talor Made had to custom make it. In fact; I was told that they made 3 of them where 2 were for destructive testing and the 3rd was for my boat. The windshield alone was almost $13,000 - extortion in my opinion.

LOL! Thanks for comment! Our electrically opening center vent window was closed when my sons buddy fell backwards from the fore deck and hit it with his arsch. Good news is that the glass is safety glass like in a car and just shatters into a million pieces and he hit it with his arsch so no bodily damage. The fellow was hung over the next morning! Always have to wonder about liability when some guest hurts him or herself on our vessel? About 20 years ago a friend of my son fell out of the port side bucket seat on my 24' Python and his mother sued me for $100k. My boat insurance just paid them even though I didn't do anything to cause this!! Called insurance and indicated I didnt cause this but was told they dont want to go to court so they just paid it? No wonder our insurance premiums are so high? The kid didnt want to sue but as he was a minor the mother saw a quick $100k in her pocket!
Well, so goes life in the USA.
