Interested I your findings, Technology looks pretty cool. Somewhat of a mixed bag for the 1st set of tests. They brought two sets of props but we didn't have chance to test the 2nd set due to weather. We did a baseline tests with my props then did the same with the sharrow props and recorded the findings. We spent about an hour testing each set of props. The sharrow props definitely felt smoother with no vibration at any rpm level. Reverse and joystick docking definitely improved. High end lost some mph. WOT RPM was a bit low and acceleration was more sluggish. Fuel econ slightly lower at my cruising speed. Sharrow folks think the other set of props with slightly smaller diameter would resolve those issues. Also note worthy was the conditions between the 1st test ( my props) and the 2nd test ( sharrow props) were different as the weather started to come in. First test was very light wind and smooth waters. 2nd set of tests wind picked up considerably and conditions were choppy. They are going to take the recorded numbers back and analyze the baseline vs the sharrow props and likely make some tweaks for me to try on another set. I will keep you posted. |

Thanks for the update. A little disappointing on top end and fuel economy. Those were the two areas I was hoping there would be improvements.
