In NY, I think we will hear something soon. In today’s presser Cuomo mentioned that all the surrounding states have their marinas open and those states don’t want new York flooding their marinas.

Just updated April 18th for NY. This is good news for NY marinas and those of us who want to use their boat while maintaining the proper social distancing protocols, etc.
Executive order 202.6
Marinas, boatyards, and recreational marine manufacturers, for ongoing marina operations and boat repair/maintenance, where such facilities adhere to strict social distancing and sanitization protocols. Use of such sites for the purposes of personal use or operation of boats or other watercraft is permissible, provided that no establishment offer chartered watercraft services or rentals. Restaurant activity at such sites are limited to take-out or delivery only.

Very good news but I am hoping I can find a launch before than to at least get the boat in the water. It will be a pain because I will have to get gas the old fashioned way, 5 gallons at a time.

Wisconsin, Green Bay. Thursday the Governor shut the state down with the extended "stay at home order" until May 26. Marina's are designated as "essential business" so it's up to each marina to make rules. Thus far I cannot get to our boat because the storage building has it on a 3rd story rack. It still needs the annual polish/wax and new bottom paint. No idea if the marina will allow us access to our slip when/if they open. Typically our area marina's start business on May 1. Fingers crossed that we have some reasonableness.

Welcome aboard Mark! Nice boat! Many Thanks for the detailed info in your signature! Great! We are Originally from WI (MKE) , moved here in 1996, glad to be in the south on lake that never freezes and marina open all year long.We have a covered wet dock as pulling out a 4160 every winter is a PITA, but dont have to do it. Hang in there and stay safe! Have to wonder about the in person voting that took place last week in MKE?, lots of friend in MKE and surrounding counties not happy with it! Being over 65 in our county I applied for continuous vote by mail, so I just get a ballot in the mail, fill it in, and mail back, great! Gives me more time to go to boat at the dock , have a few beers, listen to some music, and drive home

Hey thanks for the welcome. Yep, MKE has been hit pretty hard. We used the absentee ballot, though only 77% of the absentee ballot requests were delivered. Our neighbors had to vote in person. 4 hours in line due to Green Bay having closed all but 2 polls. Our leadership did not request National Guard help. Stay safe and enjoy the summer!

Nothing has broken for those of us in Maryland yet. other than being able to move your boat to your regular marina, which I leveraged and did this past weekend. Pics and such are in this thread of that trip. Link to I need help thread where I did two post on this trip. We can also fish or crab for sustenance in Maryland but they are pretty strict on that. I may test the waters with that if the recreational boating ban in Maryland doesn't lift by the beginning of May. Either that or I'm running to the Jersey shore early.

NYS opened up its marinas on Monday April 20! Now we just need the weather to turn a bit and for the marinas to get caught up!

yes I'm hoping the NY state decision may help Gov Logan of Maryland to open up the waters in Maryland as well. Virgina is open already also.

WI has allowed fishing for a couple weeks now, but MI did not so it's been a real pain for the early season fishing enthusiasts due to the Lake MI boundary (WI/MI) waters and different rules. I have heard that people did not even go due to the "scare/threat" of getting a DNR MI ticket if they crossed over. MI recently lifted the rules, so all is good.
WI is not allowing fishing guides to take customers out yet and I'm also hearing 2 person (or only family members) maximum in a boat. (I do not know this as fact and I do see 3 or more per boat every day) Before we splash, I'll talk to those in the know.
The WI no golf cart rule was also lifted today. Yeah.
