Looking forward to joining this community....I pickup a dealer leftover 2019 33 Express on Friday. She is getting a fresh bottom job and 20 hour service prior to delivery. Only thing I am having the dealer change is the bilge pump hose as they come corrugated from the factory and that’s a no-no in my book. Years of offshore boats, mainly center consoles with outboard exclusively, fishing from Texas all the way to the Bahamas on personal boats. Done with the towing, long trips to fishing grounds and going to give the cruiser world a toe dip. Boat has twin Volvo Penta’s evc with joystick controls. Exciting times ahead...... Hopefully I’ll contribute here vs just asking a ton of questions...😉

Beautiful boat omarf4! You and I have similar hulls and color choices. I love the Steel grey!
I'll have to check out those bilge pump hoses, by corrugated do you mean plastic? If so, I agree, but to be honest I never checked!

If so, I agree, but to be honest I never checked! Plastic is ok, but it’s not smooth walled (corrugated) on the inside which reduces flow, traps dirt and builds restrictions over time. Almost by 30% depending on head pressure. I prefer smooth wall, reinforced hoses in the bilge for bilge pumps and thru hulls. Since this boat will live in a slip on the water, it’s more of a precautionary step. Have always done that to my boats.

Agree, corrugated is most likely plastic, but what isnt plastic now a days (you hull is plastic) ? Not sure you should spend money/time to replace it, it should be fine for many years? As bilge water is usually free of contaminants/junk the corrugations shouldn't pose a problem. Would b more concerned about grey water piping from sinks / shower being corrugated pipes.! From my long gone grandfather, if it aint broke dont fix it.
