Anyone know the trick to getting the galley outlets in a 33 express to turn on? All gfci outlets are working correctly along with everything electrical in the boat. Outlet breaker is turned on, everything else seems to be working except the galley outlets right behind the sink. Need those outlets for an espresso machine bad!
stumped and hoping it’s a simple flip of a switch somewhere.
thank you.
2019 regal express.

Most likely a GFI outlet you havent found or a defective GFI outlet in the same circuit (or you have another appliance plugged in that circuit that actually has a GFI fault causing it) ! We had similar problem when first purchasing boat, there was a GFI outlet hidden under the stbd. side of fwd bunk, it had tripped. Plug espresso machine into another outlet until you find the problem Prost!

I will hunt down the suspect this week. But, all other gfci outlets are working correctly and non are tripped. Somehow the galley outlet and I found another one with the same issue next to the forward berth. somehow those two are on the same circuit and both non-operational. will update what I find once I figure it out.

If you don't easily find a hidden GFI outlet that is tripped, don't be afraid (after turning off your shore power) to open the outlets and check for loose screws on the wiring. This should also allow you to trace the direction in which the wires are headed to see if you can find a hidden GFI outlet.
On a friend's boat that he recently purchased (it was several years old, but new to him), he was complaining that his refrigerator wasn't working on AC power. I volunteered to help him track it down. It turned out there was some loose wires! They probably had been loose since the boat was new, but the problem just worsened over time to the point where there was no connection.

Possibly just replace both GFI outlets on the boat while checking for loose wires as Rich indicated (turn off both main shore power breakers and disconnect both shore power cables before doing any of this! Glad you had your espresso on mothers day, hopefully you had your mother with you?

Closing the loop here....
I took off the panel and traced the wires from the kitchen outlet back to the main panel. All forward outlets are on the FWD Outlet breaker. The first GFCI outlet load circuit above the main couch has the vberth and kitchen outlets in series. Vberth being the second and kitchen outlet being the last in the chain.
The vberth outlet had one of the blue neutral cables unplugged and out of its position. Simple plug it in and screw it back down. That resolved both the vberth and kitchen outlet.
All set. thanks folks!

Great! Thanks for posting your fix! We need more posters to reply as to what they found was their problem and what resolved it , this all will add to the value of the ROF's credibility!
