Hi can anyone advise type/make of bulb for docking lights for regal 2150. (2002), or is it possible to use LEDs? If so which ones thanks

I think you'd have to complete switch out the housing to get a bright enough LED replacement. Changing out the housing probably would be a bit of a pain and clearly a two person job but you might have access issues unless you can get to them from your anchor locker.

Thanks for this. Do you have any idea what type of bulbs that was originally fitted. My boat has no bulbs at all

unfortunately I do not, but I would guess it was halogen of some type. Any chance you can send a picture of the connector (how the bulb is inserted, the collective group may be able to help with seeing that.

You indicted you boat has no bulbs at all? Not sure what you mean? Also, good LED lamps will be at least brighter and use about 80% less current as equivalent halogen bulb. Just replaced both stbd and port nav light bulbs with 3 Watt LED's. Super bright!. Probably a festoon (43mm) or G2 halogen bulb? Also, all our halogen bulbs have been replaced with LED equivalents,everywhere on our vessel..
