Hi All,
We are owners of new Regal Express 26xo (this is the outboard version). We have had the boat for about a month and have many questions but will start with the most critical. We bought the boat from an out of state dealer so did not have the usual sea trial on site.
When doing a waste pump out on this boat, do we need to open a valve onboard before connecting the suction hose?
We have searched the boat and cannot find a valve. The manuals and spec drawings do match the location of most items on the boat. Does anyone know where the valve might be or if one if required?
We love the boat so far. Handles really well and is comfortable to stay overnight.
Thanks for the input. David

I don’t have the 26 but one my 2nd regal and there is nothing you need to open in order to pump out.

No valve. I would recommend your own adaptor in case the pumpout facility doesn't have one to fit your connection.

Thank you for the quick responses. Will try the pumpout this weekend and check the sizing. Will also look for an adapter.

Sealand Nozall pump out adapter. 1.25” for the newer 2018+ models but double check your pump out fitting size to be sure.

you shouldn't need to do anything other than unscrew the waste cap (and don't drop it in the water). Then set the vacuum hose to your waste opening, start the vacuum, and wait until it's done sucking out waste. Once done, it is recommended to put a hose of fresh water back into the waste tank to loosen up some of the solids at the bottom (maybe 2 mins), then suck that out too. Then put your cap back on and you should be good to go until next time. Meanwhile, get your favorite odor control solution to put down into the toilet that goes into the tank to control odors.

When I moved to the 33 from my 4460, I had to purchase the adapter mentioned. Some places have them, but others do not. It’s good to always have one.
