Can anyone tell me how to replace the puck lights on the underside of the hardtop above the helm?

I have a 4460 and I believe they are the same flush mount ones. Here’s what I had to do: - remove the lens to get to the actual bulb/light - remove the reflector (2 small screws) - stick a screw driver in the small holes to bend down the light - grab the rim with vice grips and pull like hell. The light will eventually pull out of the hole in the hard top, but of course it’s destroyed - I ordered new lights from www.replacementboatparts.com- they are identical, but I couldn’t get them in unless I used a grinder and opened up the holes in the hard top another 1/8’ - then I wired, tested and made sure they worked - hard push to get them into the hardtop as once in, you have to destroy them to remove them

If they're shot, fine, but if you want brighter, whiter, or possibly the opposite, why not replace the bulbs with LEDs?

For the 4460 any idea of lumitec Mirage lights will fit in the hardtop?

2 answers 1. We replaced not because we didn’t like the brightness or color but because the metal rims were corroded from the salt air 2. I looked at the magnetically, I read they are 2-1/2”. The openings are 2-3/8” and very tight so I’d be cautious of anything larger.
