Appon returning to dock at night when I turned on my spot light all power went out. Engine still running. No power to cockpit or cabin.
Next day checked all battery cables and ground connections and of course power returned. All look good
2 bank battery switch 1, 2 or all, battery two has cable from switch connected to emergency stuff to a line of breakers on side of pannel. Durring outage did not check emergency stuff to see if still working. center or common from switch connected to windless, cockpit main, and cabin main breakers on other side of panel
Since both mains went out I suspecter the jumper from common on the battery switch to the cabin and main breakers to be bad but i shook each cable trying to get even a flicker and nothing.
Had to find when not broke Maybe just battery switch? Another issue the radio changing sources on it own dont know if this could be related to some lose connection.

Any Ideas would help
Thank Joe

Get out a voltmeter (multi meter), check voltage at all battery terminals, then follow high current cables to battery switch inputs, then switch outputs, then from there to main and aux breakers most likely in the electrical breaker panel in the cabin. Voltage measured a battery posts/etc. should be the same all the way to cabin main breakers if not under any loads. Fully charged (good) Flooded/AGM 12 Volt batteries should read at least 12.6/12.8 VDC if not under load. Normally you would want to fully disconnect the battery's 24 hours prior to making that reading. Good luck.
