My engine hatch weather stripping is worn out and needs to be replaced.
My marina provided me with the following estimate:
The estimate to replace the engine hatch weather stripping, including the side hatch on either side will be $1,000 (8 hours) plus parts. The hardest part of this job is removing the adhesive from all surfaces. Please let us know.
That seems high to me, unless this is a more complicated process than I think.
Has anyone done this themselves, and if so what method and products did you use?
