On an Aviation Forum, the question was asked on how many hours did you run in 2020...it sparked alot of good feedback and it was interesting to see how much airplanes/boats were being used.
The question is...in 2020, how many hours did you put on your boat?
for me, it was 58 hours in 9 weeks on the boat.

We did 135 hours. The last 35 or so came in 1 week when we did a 600 mile round trip from CT, around NY and up to Burlington VT (Lake Champlain) and back.
I hope we can do that many hours, probably more in 2021

Around 65 hours. We don’t run as much as we anchor out and explore islands, spending the weekends out at different spots on the lake.

Only 34 hours but being on a medium size inland lake can't go much farther from dock to north end of lake than 20 miles or so. You guys on ocean, great lakes, etc. have a lot more to explore? Most trips to/from dock only 30 minutes or so, then maybe a docking at a lake side restaurant, drop anchor for over night, then back to dock next AM Happy new Year to All! PS: I ordered the LiFePO4 200 ah battery thru Amazon, looking forward to testing it out

58 hours is on the low side for us, our kids love riding around, it’s not uncommon to run 4-5 hours in a single day.

When we had bowriders we would typically be out riding around for 4 to 5 hours a day, wakeboarding, tubing and such. Once we got into cruisers our boating style changed to finding a good spot and relaxing, swimming, exploring islands and spending the whole weekend out on the boat.

We used our new 2020 33 OBX quite a bit, from when it was splashed in mid April on the Patapsco in Maryland through the use at the jersey shore between Cape May and Sea Isle and then back to the Patapsco in October when she was pulled for the winter. All total we banked 190 hours. Yes we use our boat a bit! But that's what it's for right? Also, there is a lot of slow running in those numbers down here at the Jersey shore since there is a lot of no wake on the back bays. She's also been out in the Ocean about 10 to 15 miles but no further yet. One of the big things that helped us in piling on the hours was working from home all summer with home being 10 minutes from the marina. I used the boat normally 4-5 days week between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
