I have a 2022 Regal 29 OBX on order for October delivery. I am considering the installation of a Seakeeper. Has anyone installed one in a 29 OBX and if so where did you locate it?

On the 29 you should have plenty of room for the Seakeeper mounting in the area where the V8s would have been under the hatch. I'm not familiar with the 29 OBX but I have a 33 OBX and while I don't have a Seakeeper in mine, I know it's installed on the centerline (where my gene is located) just forward of the hatch opening. I believe with the 29 you can get away with the new smaller Seakeeper 1 which can almost be installed anywhere according to the documentation. So I would think any open area where the inboard engines would have been should be sufficient. May be best to talk with Seakeeper.

Will your boat have access to shore power? I've heard it takes a while to "spin-up" the seakeeper to the desired rpm and that can best be done with shore power or generator. Can also be done with batteries too like the aux house battery. Agree for location it would go in lazerette storage area where the sterndrives would normally be mounted.
We considered but decided to wait to see if prices come down at all.

Sorry, dont have any info on Seakeeper The new model year for boats starts in July"ish" every year. We ordered ours the same time as neilsregal and were told earliest delivery would be approx Oct but since we live in Maryland deiced to take a later delivery to avoid winterizing and storage so expect to splash around a year from now (Apr 2022)

Guidance I was given is that the SeaKeeper takes a long time to spin up and only works when the boat is at rest. Not underway. It only controls the roll axis.
