I have owned my 2007 Commodore 40046 about a year and I am still discovering things. Recently I discovered that the 1" discharge hose from aft head sump box is clogged. When the sump box is pumping the water is being forced up the drain of the sink topside and not overboard or in the waste tank. Does the sump box and topside sink drain to the waste tank or to a through hull? Are they connected to a manifold or valve that could be closed? Any suggestions on how to clear a clog in these hoses?

My '07 4460 sump box pumps to a thru-hull on the side of the boat (discharges overboard). It's on the low port side, almost inline below the port fuel tank vent.
I recommended emailing Regal and asking for the owners manual in digital form. I have it for the 4460 and it is a very valuable resource that gives me info like this thru hull.

On my 4460, when I had it like Seasun, both of the sumps forward and aft ran to discharge on the Starboard side where all the thru hulls were located. They did not go to the holding tank. Only the heads went to the holding tank. When I've had issues with pumping out, or after winterizing I have used a ShopVac to push/pull obstructions through those hoses. You might want to try that.

Hi, Any possibility you can share that ‘07 4460 manual? I would love to have a copy! Thanks, Philip

Agree, sump pumps go directly to two thru hulls, not to a gray or black water tank. Try pouring a quart of H2O2 down each sink, shower drain, let set for a few hours, then flush with fresh water!

Same here, both sump pumps (fwd and aft) discharge sinks and shower water drains outboard thru through hull. Nothing goes to holding tanks (no holding tank other than black water tank for toilets). Suggest you pour one quart H2O2 into both head sinks and shower drains, just let it set for a few hours, then flush with warm/hot water!
