HI, new to this forum. We have a 2016 ES 2000 we bought last summer. We are interested in adding a tower to it. It has the power tower switch on it already. Is there an aftermarket tower to add or do I need to go to the original dealer and order directly from them? Are there any pros/cons to the standard tower vs the power tower? We would like to add a rack for wakeboards, skiis, etc if possible. Thanks!

I installed a tower on a Four Wiinna bow rider many years ago and was very happy with the results. I had to beef up the boat’s structure with fiberglass and backing plates to make it work.
Do you know if the backing support is in place for the tower? That would be the first thing you need to know.
A power tower is nice if you need it to fold down for storage, but the install would require more surgery to the boats structure than a bolt on stationary tower.

runrdoc,
I had done the same thing with my 1996 Bryant that ig260ss did and added a Monster Tower to my Bryant 212. I had to add some additional fiberglass as well. However, on your boat if Regal originally set that up for the tower, you may or may not have the required additional fiberglass and it will also depend if you go with and can get an actual Regal Power Tower. Probably would be cheaper to add something like a Monster Tower to the boat over the Regal version, but I think the Regal version will probably look better with the lines of the boat.

Agree, check for support glass under where new tower would mount!
