Thinking about adding this to my 35 Sport Coupe. Anyone have this on their boat? Curious thoughts on if it's worth it. Haven't gotten a price on it, so also curious what it costs as an option from Regal direct or if someone put it on after the fact. I keep my boat in salt water and a little worried I'll need to replace risers and manifolds sooner rather than later.

I'm a Neutra Salt user....I have an 07 3760 kept in salt water and went 12 years on my manifolds and risers. I think it paid for itself...Just sayin. After 12 years a little weeping at the gaskets

Thanks. My boat has been used for two seasons with out it, so if I add it now I am hoping the damage isn't already done.

Both engines maifolds, risers, elbows and gaskets just under $ 4,200.00 to have it done.

I have the system installed at the factory . My question is how do you know it’s working? The fluid container does not seem to change in level too much.

I run mine about a one minute at idle. Mark your reservoir with a sharpie to see the change in one treatment. I fill my reservoir at least once a season!!

What do you fill reservoir with? Amount and cost? We are 20 years on fresh water and no signs of rust/weeping anywhere, guess lucky to be on fresh water? Thinking would be a good time to pull risers off and take a look with endoscope?

We use as directed Volvo-Penta-Neutra-Salt-Neutralizing-Concentrate. About 68.00 per gal, capacity of both reservoirs might be a gallon.
Yes salt is corrosion just looking to happen.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, my dealer has been pretty slow right now as they are knee deep in commissioning boats. I waiting for estimates on a bunch of stuff

Typically a fresh water (two circuit) cooled engine is only the engine cooling circuit, the exhaust manifolds and risers are still cooled by sea water. Have seen some engines that the exhaust manifolds are also cooled by jacket water but still sea water going through risers and out with engine exhaust.

Thanks, double checked on it and I don't need it on to the next project

Anybody have any issues with the solenoid being stuck in the open position causing an overheat issue? I've been chasing down an exhaust over heat alarm and noticed one of the reservoirs was empty when I got back to the dock, it was filled up prior. Any thoughts?
