On my second set of 6.5 marine speakers and again they are rotted away any suggestion on a good brand that will last

Wet Sounds (i have them on my SC35 transom; they always get wet and they still work)
JL Audio is another good brand but i dont have personal experience with them.
Inhad Fusion for 3 years instead of the WS and thew were in good shape; i replaced them to improve sound quality. (I boat in salt water)
