Thanks, I wasn’t sure if the 90 spun off. I definitely have pressure up to this point. I’ll try the 90 first as I wasn’t keen on removing anymore. Will keep you posted '

More challenging problem with our 2001 Westerbeke 7.0 kW . No water flow out exhaust. Son spotted exhaust out thru hull but no water. So, replaced impeller on sea water pump, 1/4" of one vane missing. No flow. Back flushed with dock hose from inlet hose to exhaust manifold, after removing cover of pump the 1/4" vane piece blew out. Great! all fine so far. Now it gets interesting, still no sea water flow = Problem was badly worn impeller shaft seal on Johnson sea water pump (pump Westerbeke used when set built in 2001), Only way pump wouldn't self prime and pump water would be impeller sucking air instead of water thru bad shaft seal, replaced shaft seal and working again. Fun to diagnose these little things .
