Windless roller guide bent

I have a new 36XO and used the windless several times. This past week caught a wave and the line fully bent the guide ring. It seems the one installed is not that strong for this weight of boat. It bends so easily. I used pliers to bend it back so I could retrieve the anchor. Another Regal owner said they had the same issue.

Anyone experience this and find a solution? I think Lewmar does make a stronger one. I may ned to have it changed out.
