I have a new to me 2019 42 Fly. My AC units are shutting down with an HPF code. I've cleaned out the sea strainer and knocked off any growth in and around the hull strainer. The hose from the seacock to the sea strainer is clear, the hose form the sea strainer to the AC pump is clear and the pump appears to be running properly. I'm guessing that its time to run some barnacle buster through the AC heat exchangers but I'm unsure how to get to the discharge points of the three AC units in order to attach return hoses to the barnacle buster recirculating system. I'm thinking of using something like the Trac Port O Flush Junior. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I have a 4460 with 3 units. When I had issues, I brought in a guy and he removed the manifold to clean out accumulation or dirt and sea creatures and then used a higher pressure hose to blow out all the accumulated stuff in the 3 AC’s, one at a time. I modified the manifold for a quick connect fresh water hose, added valves to isolate each of the 3 units and clean them every couple of weeks (when. I was in Charleston ). That kept them Clean and efficient.

Nice idea.
If I'm reading this right, you put the fresh water quick connect on the manifold inlet and then put shut off valves on each the three manifold outlets?
When you brought in the guy to clean out the system, did the "high pressure hose" deliver air to blow out the debris or was it fresh water?
Thanks and sorry for the silly questions.

All the AC guy did was remove each of the fittings and put freshwater to each loop independently. All I did was create my own manifold.
- normal sea/lake water from the C pump comes in bottom, but I added a shutoff valve - quick connect fitting at the top with a valve that I connect to a fresh water supply - each AC has an isolation valve
So to flush 1. Turn off the pump and close the valve 2. Connect freshwater to my quick connect and open the valve 3. Turn on water and open one of the 3 AC valves one at a time. Watch the stream and when water is clear, the one is clean, go to next.

Thanks again hawker63. I'll work on pulling all the parts together today.
In the meantime, I'd still like to locate the discharge hoses (from heat exchanger to overboard) of the three AC units. I'd like to put a closed loop system in place to circulate barnacle buster from time to time and to also winterize the units. Does anyone know what panels need to be removed or what items need to be taken apart to access these lines, especially for the forward unit?
TIA
