Where is the switch for the sunroof that does not allow the roof to move with the front window open? I have to override the roof to move it regardless if the window is open or closed.

Can you indicate what year, model vessel you have. Might get some answers when that info available. Thanks

Its magnetic switch located at the windows frame. (I believe is at the bottom on the right). Look for the magnet on the moving window that activates the magnetic switch. May be you lost that magnet? Magnet has to be in contact with the switch (closed position) to allow the roof to move.

There is a stop where the mid-glass opens and lays over on when fully opened. I felt like it had a magnet in that stop and wondered if that might be it. Its a 2014 35 Sport Coupe. It worked fine and then all of the sudden I had to use the override to move the top whether the mid-window was open or closed. I had read where there were some motor issues (belt maybe) with these roofs that move, but it moves fine. I just have to use the override all the time now.

Hummmm. Interesting. I will have to look. I never noticed that. I was thinking it may have been in the stop when the window is open on the bottom left. Thanks for the photo's.

I looked yesterday and sure enough, you were spot on. I do remember seeing that little piece on the dash and wondered what it was.

No. I remember seeing it on the front of the bow, but didn't know what it was at the time. I can't figure out what I did with it. Is it just a magnet?

I was cleaning the boat yesterday and found the piece under the sun pad on the bow. It looks like a couple of small machine screws and it will reattach.

Great feed back and solution guys! Wishing we had "Glass" vs eisen glass/canvas on our 4160 but boat /engines still running like new (well, 1100 hours, and lots of TLC)
