I recently bought a 2006 3060 Window Express. Wanted to get some opinions on pulling skiers or inflatables behind the boat. I'm suggesting to my better half that we should buy a jet ski for this purpose as it's more practical (safer, better fuel economy, etc.) but is it even possible or safe to pull these behind a 3060?

Depends on the weight of the skier, MPH capability of the 3060, one or two skies, etc. Dont believe you would be better off buying a jet ski to pull skiers than the 3060? Thinking you just want to buy a jet ski:) We have pulled multiple skiers behind our 4160, about 21 knots, the good thing is when you push the throttles to WOT the skiers "jump" out of the water.

Thanks for the feedback. My 3060 has the 5.7l Pentas for a total of 600 hp, top speed near 50mph. I do like riding jet skis, like a motorcycle on water , but my main motivation with that option is running cost (mainly fuel). Can I ask how you connected the ski rope configuration to your 4160?

FWIW, I use a tow harness. It clips to the two lift eyes on either side of the transom. It has a float in the middle with another clip protruding from the float. It works well.
