Need advise on the best chartplotter replacement for the Garmin 5208 on my Regal 35SC. Heading down the ICW in 3 weeks and need current maps. I have currently running G2 Vision charts from 2016. Unfortunately Garmin has stopped supporting the 5208. i am uncomfortable traveling 1100 miles with Apps like Aqua. I am considering buying a Garmin 8610 or 8612 with G3 Vision and using Aqua or Garmin Active Captain as a backup. Not sure the 8000 series plotters will fit though and have no time for mistakes. Would appreciate input from anyone that has already been through the upgrade process.
