Hi Everyone, Glad to join this forum! Some info - my wife and I purchased a 2005 Commodore 3060 (called Window Express in later models) with twin 5.7GXi-F engines with DuoProp SX outdrives. The boat has about 380 hours on original engines and outdrives. She had a good survey and sea trial... and then of course after purchase and delivery she's had some 'issues'. I am hoping to share some experiences as well as learn from some of you who may have had some similar to mine. I'll post those in separate threads Here is the original dealer listing: www.exportmarineinc.com/05-regal-3060-commodoreDuring the survey one of my main concerns was to test for water intrusion in any of the hull or topside components; the moisture meter was dry everywhere except the starboard lid covering the anchor locker. Was very happy with this result. The sea trial had very smooth shifting outdrives and zero vibrations all the way through WOT to nearly 48 MPH. Everything else on the vessel was in mostly good condition for being ~15 years old. We purchased and arranged delivery from Little Rock, AR to Detroit, MI where the boat is moored off of Lake St. Clair. We've only had the boat for about 2 months and it's already out for the winter, so we are hoping for an enjoyable and lengthy boating season in 2020!

Thank you - yes, it is my first Regal. I did have a 2016 Scarab 255 Impulse Jet Boat which was a lot of fun but was a day boat. We wanted something to have a fuller marina experience and allow for overnighting & longer trips. At the boat shows we really liked the 26 and 28 Express more than most of all the other new boat manufacturers, but I really wanted a 10' beam and anything new in the 26-30' range seem to be 8'6 'trailerable' beams. Found this one on the used market at a very good price, so we took a chance!

Also welcome! Nice boat and seems like sea trial and survey was great! Having a 2001 4160 the layout of the vessel is the best we have seen in this class of cruiser. If the dealer has the service records on it since new I recommend you get a copy so you know what has been done and what has to be done next! Being originally from WI I know about pulling for winter, fortunately at that time my boats were trailerable so just pulled for winter. The 4160 stays wet all year as Lake lanier never freezes, happy not to have to pull a 4160 out every winter . Good luck and stay connected to the new ROF.

Thanks all! Mypleasure not sure about the inverter. I'll post a little list of all my issues so far after 2 months of ownership in the maintenance section. If nothing else, it's pretty much par for the course for my life

Hello again everyone. I have a few questions here for everyone and admin. I live in Canada and I have to store my boat for the winter. I have speakers on my wakeboard tower. Should I take the speakers off for the winter or will they be ok left on? Thanks for any information and ideas. Second question is for admins. For some reason I have 3 profiles, How do I get rid of 2? Thanks again for all and any help. Have a great day.
