Good afternoon, first post here. I've recently purchased a new to me 2021 28 Express. The SiriusXM unit is not picking up anything, so I pulled the stove out to check the Sirius unit. As I expected, there is no antenna lead hooked to the unit. I'm looking for the antenna lead, but having no luck. Would anyone know how this is routed into the space under the stove? I just need an idea where I might expect to find it. If needed, is there an easy path to run a new lead from the helm/dash to this area? Thank you, any help will be greatly appreciated. UPDATE: I was able to find the lead. It comes through the starboard side wall with all the other wires. I traced the AM/FM antenna wire and figured it would be close, and it was tucked up in that hole. My paperwork shows the Fusion head unit was replaced prior to my purchase and the tech must have tucked it up there and forgot to reconnect it. It works as expected now. Thank you all for the help. Happy Boating!! Attachments:

My Sirius XM antenna sits behind the compass on my 2019 28 express. I don’t subscribe to XM so I don’t know if works.

My previous boat was a 2013 28 express. The satellite antenna was mounted in front of the compass at the helm. That location gets blocked by the tower, so we had our dealer install an antenna on the bow of the boat. When we ordered our 2019 33 express we had the factory install the satellite antenna on top of the hard top to avoid the same problem. Not sure why regal insists on installing them at the helm where they can’t have good signal.

Would folks be able to post photos of the Sirius XM antenna installations on top of the tower, near the compass, and on the bow? Just for future reference, in case folks are interested to install their own.
I have thought of installing my own antenna on top of the tower, and running the wire down the inside of the starboard side of the tower and then routing to the radio. However, if the antenna could be mounted forward of the compass (under the windshield), that seems like a much easier alternative. If it were far enough forward, would the front of the tower still interfere with it?

Unfortunately I won’t be able to get you a picture until Spring!! The Sirius satellites are in the southern sky, so depending on which way you our boat is facing the tower will block the antenna signal. Happened very often to me and then worked great once it was moved up front near the anchor locker.

What my wife and I have done as a workaround, is use her cell phone with the Sirius XM app on it, and stream the signal via Bluetooth from her phone to the Fusion head unit belowdecks. Has worked just fine, but I'd still love to have a built-in antenna.

I just purchased a dedicated Sirius XM receiver and antenna, and I think I will mount my antenna in the same location forward of the compass. That looks really good and will simplify routing of the wire, so that I don't have to bother with running it down the Power Tower.
Much appreciated!

Thanks!

I have the alcohol/electric stove, and it's just 4 screws after you open the cover. I don't know about the electric only. I've also heard others mention taking out the refrigerator to get to radio, etc.

Damn, yeah, I have the electric only stove. There didn't appear to be an easy way to get it out. Guess I'll have to do some online research. Obviously there is a way. Maybe I will need to remove the fridge.... hopefully not. Thanks for the reply!
