I have a 2007 4060 with dual A/C. The rear A/C seems to start and then possibly shut off and on the panel reads E4 error. Any thoughts and solutions for this? Could it be possibly low refrigerant in the system? Both pumps put out water and it still has prime and the forward A/C works well.
Thx

E4 is "low flow". Also, most of the boats with dual A/C have a single pump. It might be that it's clogged getting to the rear A/C and all the flow you're seeing is from the front.

Again I think you have 1 pump. Investigate in your boat to see but it's most likely a single 1000 gph pump feeding both AC. The recommendation in the manual is to hook a garden hose directly to the AC unit and run it for an hour.
I wish Regal would have put a hose fitting with a ball valve right after the pump - it'd let you do this without disconnecting anything, and have the benefit of flushing your lines from the pump to the outlet.
I'd say check your sea strainer too, as a precaution, but you said you're getting good flow..

Maybe you can run barnical buster or something similar though the water line.

I just finished talking to my mechanic and he is saying that it was difficult to get anti freeze to the rear A/C when he was winterizing it. Any other suggestions prior to launching it in May??

Before you launch you can always flush it backwards to see it helps, of course once it warms up.
