'07 4460 … having a hard time finding replacement windshield wiper blade for it. Has anyone solved this mystery and can point me to a product or info to find more about it? The manual didn't seem to help.
Cheers.

If that doesnt work suggest you e mail Regal service giving them your model/year and especially your hull number and ask for the p/n of a replacement wiper blade. I have had good success using that method with Regal but make sure you give the hull number!Try this contact =wconnell@regalboats.com, if that isnt still alive, go to Regal web site and use the contact service link Good luck!

thanks both of you … with JNelson90's post, that makes me think about getting a longer blade (the windshield could certainly accommodate) … I wonder what the limit might be for the motor assembly and power? I've also emailed Regal. Thanks!

I would check the current blade and see if there is clearance with the current 30" blade between the window frames before buying a 31 or 32" blade. Dont think the wiper motor would have a problems with a blade 1 or 2" longer? FYI= Our wiper motor failed about two years ago, dont know how to get at it nor have the energy to pull helm dash apart to get to it! Just dont really need a wiper motor functioning on a 25 mile long inland lake, can get back to covered dock in 10 or 15 minutes if heavy raining or just stay anchored until rain lets up

Hi seasunofthesoul,
What's the condition of your wiper assembly and (all parts other than the blade). I just got my '07 4460 about 6 weeks ago and the metal is flaky and corroded. Not sure if I can pull the entire assembly off and sand/paint it? Functions fine just not very attractive. Appreciate any advice.
I also need the blade plan to try a 30" as well. Going to replace this week I'll let you know how it goes.
Thanks, Philip

Hi seasunofthesoul, What's the condition of your wiper assembly and (all parts other than the blade). Mine is decent. Could probably take a little paint or something but it doesn't bother me and it's functioning sufficiently with the bigger blade.

I had a lot of slippage in the drive mechanism on my 4460 before I traded it. The wiper sometimes would sweep the full windshield and then other times only half of that. Wasn't sure how to access the motor to deal with it. But since I traded the boat, I guess it's now going to end up being the next guys issue. The wiper did wipe the windshield full about 3/4s of the time, but it was clearly having slippage and something needed to be tweaked soon. Have you guys seen that? If so, you may want to address it sooner than later and if anyone has done it, sharing how here would be a great thing.

I know from experience that buying one of those long blades costs a freakin' FORTUNE at a marine store.
That's "IF" they even carry the one you need.
I solved my replacement problem by searching Truck Tractor Trailer parts stores.
They are more reasonably priced and have many different sizes.

Great idea! Also, take current blade off and take to a NAPA or other automotive store, they may be able to find a exact replacement. Also, our wiper is SS, not painted ! Cant believe Regal wanted to save $10 on a $350k vessel to go to painted wiper blade vs SS?? Most likely either version comes from China anyway? PS: GA governor has allowed opening up some facilities but I am not going anywhere other than DR., Kroger for food or prescriptions, and dock at Lanier. As our slips are more than 14 feet apart it complies with the 6' social distance rule?
