Let me start by saying that this does not apply to us and I have not seen this take place on our forum.
I received an email from ProBoards, the folks that this board is run thru...they are forewarning that they are combing thru the boards looking for covid discussions that could be misleading to the public.
I really do not have a ton of information but I believe the concern is false information that could be harmful if someone not knowing, follows the advise and gets hurt.
Anyways...It does NOT affect us as I read every post but I wanted you to be aware.
Feel free to discuss as needed, just be mindful of the above.
I hope everyone is staying healthy and enjoying the summer.

Decided by Proboards, the folks that hosts this web based forum.
This is the note I got
As you are undoubtedly aware, the world is facing an unprecedented emergency with COVID-19 and the situation is rapidly evolving.
Recently there have been some discussions on this forum relating to this crisis, including some posts which contained misinformation. The health and safety of our employees, customers, and the public at large is our utmost priority. We strongly encourage you to follow the recommendations of experts in your area and around the world.
Relying on accurate information is paramount to successfully overcoming this global pandemic. We will not tolerate the propagation of misinformation on our platform which could result in serious consequences for the public at large. If you see any false information posted on a ProBoards forum, report it to us here. Further, on our Support Forum we will not tolerate information from non-authoritative sources.
At ProBoards, we are committed to continuing to provide our services without interruption. Our employees began working from home as of last week. We are exercising extreme caution to help contain the spread of this disease by practicing appropriate social distancing. Our staff will continue to be available as normal, and forums should experience no interruptions.

Most likely they are using AI to search for COVID posts with a certain message. AI is not perfect, especially when using NLP (Natural Language Processing). They probably got a false positive on a post that contains the word COVID that was discussion something benign such as now COVID is affecting boating. Just a guess.

Completely agree, no one has time to read millions of posts. It does not affect us, as folks have been great about the topics on our forum.
