I have a 2020 LS6 with the regular bimini (no tower). There is zero instructions with the owners manual regarding how to store it while towing. Is this picutre the proper way? If I remove the rear leg out of the ball socket the bimini would rest on the boat and scratch the fiberglass. It's also possible to fold it forward and rest on the windshield however this doesn't seem correct either as there's nothing really holding it. Thanks

so when I had a Bimini on my 22 Foot Bryant, before I putt the wakeboard tower on it, I would always tow it with the Bimini laying flat back. I think towing it up like that puts some stress on the mounting points at any speed over 50. On my Bryant when the top was laid flat back it laid on top of the engine cover which went totally across the back of the boat. I don’t hav a LS5 so maybe someone else can give better advice but I’d lay it flat back if it will position well with support in that mode.

I know you posed the question a few weeks ago, but in the position shown in your pic is perfectly acceptable; I often do it this way myself. When I do tow it with the bimini down, I simply stuff a couple pieces of foam between the frame and fiberglass. Just collapse your top and anyplace it makes contact is where to stuff the foam, towel, spare beer coozies...whatever you want will work as long as it's soft.

Your Bimini attaches to the hull, which is good. Previous regal I had, they attached partially to windshield frame which always concerned me with added stress at 60 plus mph.
