At the end of the season we busted off one of the plastic angled rub rail splice caps on our 2002 2860 Commodore and have not had any luck finding somewhere to purchase a replacement. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I found parts for mine on Tacomarine.com. Maybe you’ll have some luck

I just sent their customer support team an email to see if they still have that splice cover available. I couldn't locate it in their catalog though. Thank you very much for the response.

No luck at Taco Marine nor Great Lakes Skipper. Anyone out there have any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any info.

Not that I've ever tried it, but how about filling it with something like Bondo and then sanding to shape & painting white or off white?

worst case take a PVC pipe fitting and split it with a saw to your measurements

The PVC pipe idea is interesting. I may have to give that a try! At this point, that's as good an idea as any! Thanks for the suggestion!

If the PVC pipe idea doesn't work out, perhaps buy two straight stainless rub rail caps, and then go to a metal fab or welding shop and have them join them at the proper angle to make you a stainless cover. if you do this. If they do a good job and also polish it properly, it will look factory new. While you are at it, have them make two, one for each side so both sides match.
It may cost a bit more, but it will look better than it is now.
My guess is that you can't find this exact part online, as every boat would have a unique angle needed for that cap, so it would be difficult for anyone to keep the proper part in stock.

Looks good other than "sold in packs of 100X"

I still have one of those pieces at home. I gave it to a friend and he printed a 1:1 copy (black) on his 3D printer. The result was perfect. Next step is printing one in the exact color. Will keep you updated.

Looks good other than "sold in packs of 100X" No, just store. Thanks for pointing that out! So, store would have to buy 100X then sell two to OP?

Ah yes, that's how it works in retail. Sometimes it goes through several more hands too (distributors/wholesalers)
