I just installed a Gen5 2 banks charger on my 23 OBX. Extremely easy process and now I can leave the boat plugged in at the storage place 24x7. Attachments:

Interesting your storage place has a convenient 120VAC outlet that you can use 24/7? Do you get charged (pun) for the use of power?

A 15amp outlet is included with the price of the covered bay. I wish they had WiFi to monitor the boat from anywhere.

Assume you dont have HVAC system? If so, you could just turn on HVC to heat mode and keep vessel nice and cozy over winter, (unless your in FL etc.) I dont believe you indicated your location, I might be wrong? A outside company installed Wi-Fi on our dock (24 vessels) but no one i know of elected to use it, $26/month! |

I just discovered the NOCO products, very impressed with it.
I did install it on the boat I am currently using and bought another one for the generator at the lake house.
Time will tell if if it will keep the batteries as healthy as they advertise.

Question= covered bay means your in the water at a dock with a cover your boat or out of water with a roof over your boat. There is Wi-Fi at our dock but no one that I know of uses it, too many $$$. You would still have to have Wi-Fi or bluetooth monitoring systems sending data out to your phone to get notifications. Like Admin said we still dont know anything about you/location, try to add this important info (to give a good reply) to you salutation! |
