We purchased our 2015 46 Sport Coupe on the 18th of January 2021 and sailed the next day on a 1,000 nautical mile journey from Queensland to Victoria Australia. We had our fair share of inclement weather and testing oceans. When we used the inbuilt barbecue our cockpit led down lights did not work. We have tried Turing all switches on but to no avail, are there any wiring diagrams for this model, so we can try and trace the problem. TIA We are extremely impressed by the ocean going abilities of this yacht.

Welcome! Have to wonder if you had a survey before purchase and if so, did that problem show up? Is "barbecue" a 120 VAC item or gas fired (assume 120 VAC as you asked about wiring diagram? ) ? Assume if AC you have to run on either shore power or gen set? Suggest you e mail Regal Service and give your hull number and ask that question and request a owners manual, that should contain a wiring diagram. Good luck and glad you like your 46!

I am 99% sure there is a "limiter" safety switch usually tied to putting the grill top in the correct storage position ( which enables the switch) I don't have a 46SC but I think this is the way all the Regal are. Perhaps someone will chime on with a 46SC or you can call Regal and ask. Good luck.

I have a .pdf version of the SC46 Manual (the 42SC & 46SC manual are combined). It has a wiring diagram. If you send me your email address I can try to send it to you (I don’t recall how large a file it is, big I think). I could just send you the electrical diagrams but you’ll want the manual at some/several times during your ownership. Originally I downloaded it from the Regal website. Maybe it’s still there. Maybe it’s not since they stopped producing 46SCs.

It’s a little over 19mb so depending on your email provider limitations we can try simply emailing it if you provide an address.

Maybe meant electric stove top hot plate type burner on galley counter top which I agree has a safety switch to make sure the cover top is fully stowed when using it, ours does? possible he has a actual heating element Grill on the bridge deck? Boat too new for me to know?
