Good Day Regal Community.
Just took out the LX6 last weekend for the first time since receiving the new boat.
I have a few questions for fellow LX6 owners
Naturally I have contacted the dealer and Regal about these three specific details and they are most willing to remedy these problems. Since this model is relatively new I wanted to ask the other owners if they also see the same concerns on their models.
I have attached some photos to aid in my explanations.
If your model has the power tower option. When you fold it down and the piston rams are exposed if you look down where the Rams are exposed do you have metal on metal contact between the piston ram and the guide?
On the Port, Cockpit seating area, towards the rear of the boat is the stacked battery tray system for 2 batteries. On our maiden voyage the top battery fell off and was loose in the compartment. I have asked the dealer and Regal themselves how is the Top Battery supposed to stay on its shelf. In other words is you top battery loose and can fall off the shelf at will
The last question is regarding trailering. Our boat was purchased with a Windlass Anchor and supposedly we bought a trailer that is designed to work with the anchor.
When we launched everything was fine but on retreival the windlass would not clear the bow stop. We tried different levels of putting the trailer into the ramp. Deep or Shallow none allowed me to clear the bow stop. Luckily we took tools along and were able to relocate the bow stop but eventually had remove the anchor from the boat to increase the clearance even further. If other LX6 owners trailer every time to the marina and have no issues I would like to see a photo of your boat sitting on the trailer to compare geometries. I have spoken to the manufacturer of the trailer and after the dealer is done with my many other repairs I do plan on taking it to them for further fitment corrections.
Would love to post pictures of us having a great time but unfortunately our day was cut short with these incidents.
