Anyone know how to remove the microwave in a 4460? Want to access the back of the stereo receiver to wire up differently (rca’s coming from the tv) but for the life of me can’t figure out how to get the stereo out. Looks like the microwave needs to come out but can’t figure out how to get to the screws on the bottom of the microwave. Thanks!

In our 4460, the microwave was anchored to a bottom shelf. The shelf was screwed to the counter top. So we had to unscrew the shelf from the counter top which allowed us to access the screws holding microwave to the shelf. you can see below the microwave is a shelf/base that was screwed into the counter top.

Thanks hawker63. That looks just like my setup. I did try unscrewing the 2 screws at the front/base of the microwave (visible in your picture) going into the counter top and the microwave didn't move. Do you have to pull hard? Are there more screws other than those 2 to get the microwave out? I'm guessing it's never been removed and might be a bit stiff. I didn't want to pull too hard and break anything.
Thanks!

I can’t get to boat right now as it’s being painted. I recall it being tough to remove and for some reason I can’t recall if there was more screws of just stuck to counter from years. I’d try a small screw driver to see if you can pry up the front of the shelf which may indicate if there’s more screws. I recall accessing mine by opening the microwave door but I don’t recall having to reach over the microwave to get at any more screws. We hope boat is in water early next week as it’s getting painted and I’ll check

I had to do the same thing to replace my surround stereo A/V unit and to remove the microwave, i only had to open the microwave door, unscrew those two front screws into the wood floor, then i was able to pull the microwave out.

Follow up - I was able to get the microwave out! It was only the two screws in front of the microwave door. I just had to give it a good pull to get it loose and it came right out. Thank you all! Now, how do I run an HDMI cable to the location where the TV is mounted?? Seems the wires run straight up above the TV behind the vinyl/foam wall covering and around to the back of the stereo receiver somehow. Anyone run new wires? Any tips?
Would post an image if I could figure out how.

We tried to run new cables and gave up. We mounted the ATT WiFi box right at the TV. If you find a solution, please let us know, I was stumped.
