Hello! I have a 2000 4160 and most of the gauges are failing. Does anyone know where I can find compatible replacements?

I would just purchase a whole new set for each engine...there are several gauge manufacturers at different price points.

Agree! Most of our Faria multi indicating twin engine gauges dont read anything near what they should. Suggest getting a whole new set of real gauges!

Back in my 'Hay-Day', Stewart-Warner was the king. What happened to them?

I have twin 6CTA8.3M3 Cummins diesels in my boat and the old gauges appear to have been replaced with medallion gauges (I was told the original gauges were Borg Warner)
I'm wanting to replace them all. Can anyone please suggest where I can order the replacement gauges?
Thank you all!

Hello! I have a 2000 4160 and most of the gauges are failing. Does anyone know where I can find compatible replacements? My '91 Commodore 360 has instrumentation displays by VDO and I was able to find replacement tachs online on eBay but the better price was through Anchor Express - www.anchorexpress.com/

I also have failing twin display gauges in a 2000 4160. Repair guy at Fariah says they didn’t make them and aftermarket guy says they are probably medallion that are actually electronic not mechanical so he can’t repair them. He instructed me to open dash and look for conversion box. If our boats are already that setup I may go the route of a nmea converter box and two 12” mfds. Has anyone done this on one of these boats?

Plan is to put in nmea conversion box from actisense and install twin raymarine or garmin mfds, can only fit 9” displays unfortunately. Does anybody know if the engine alarms are triggered before the Medallion computer boxes? Hoping so it would simplify my install for sure.

First season with the 4160 is basically a wrap here in Ontario. Get a few nights at dock and a cool fall leaf tour up the side of Bruce Peninsula still this year. Got my dash conversion working well and am really happy with results. Got the Actisense converters on sale and after some initial frustration have everything working except for garmin auto guidance to one touch control my old raymarine 6100 autopilot. It is possible but I had had enough boat work by the time my big project boat went in the water. My engineer daughter and I will get that feature fired up this winter. If anybody has a use for them I have two medallion engine gauge computers for 6 bta Cummins that I would sell for reasonable money to help someone out with failing gauges on early 4160s. Attachments:
