I have a new 33 OBX with the sun roof which you can pull down and the slide back open. When it rains the gully’s which hold the sliders fill with water and when you step on to the boat and the balance changes, water pours over the helm, all the instruments and anyone else who is at the helm.
It seems that the only means by which the gully’s can drain is via the front of the roof and through the little drain holes which surely must be a design fault. I don’t think I’m explaining this terribly well but anyone with a 33 OBX must surely be having the same problem.
Sadly the boat is kept in a marina out in Barbados and there is no main dealer out here, and the Florida dealership that I bought the boat from are not very helpful! I have also bought (but not fitted) the full enclosure which if fitted would for sure solve the problem of water falling into the helm, but I’m concerned that it may spoil the look of the boat.
I cant find any pictures of what the boat would look like with the full enclosure fitted, so again many info would be most appreciated.
Many thanks
Simon

I don't believe there is anyone else here with your boat model yet.
That being said, if you are getting no help from your dealer, I would call Regal directly to see what they can do to help you.
It seems that many boats have issues dealing with rain water. For example: many bowriders have issues with standing water in the bow cover which can be quite annoying. The hard top on my 33 Express does not open (thankfully) but some water does sit up there when it rains. The water will pour off the back when we throttle forward so we make sure nobody is sitting in the back if the hardtop is wet. The arch on my 28 express held water that would pour off the side when stepping on the boat. I know of some Formula supersports that take on rain that ends up in their mid cabins, which is totally unacceptable.
I hope you can find a way to alleviate your issue.
