Anyone ever order an replacement engine key? I was able to find one online for cabin. There is a letter on my key so assume that is the identifier for it. Thanks!

Not the cheapest, but total peace of mind---a locksmith. Yeah, I went to my local hardware store and they made one for me to test. I wanted it with the fancy regal logo and plastic cap  Was able to fine exact replacement for the cabin key too. |

I have been paranoid about losing my keys and not having an extra set. I now have TWO extra sets. One hidden on the boat and a spare set I keep at home. I was able to get "OEM" replacements outside of Regal ( Yamaha keys with logic) and cabin keys by searching the net with the number printed on the key.

I have Volvo engines, maybe I will give that a try. There is a letter on the key, so assuming that is the version I need to get.

I purchased my boat new and it came with Sierra International ignition switches. You can but a new switch and 2 keys for less than 20 bucks.
