Love this boat. Spent week #1 with her and spent Sat night aboard. Was awesome. Just need some sort of shade for the door. Marina lighting shines in. I ended up putting a towel on the outside. Saturday was VERY windy and was a little anxious... No issue at all. In fact I have yet to use the joystick except for a bridge opening hold. Throttles and bow thruster is all you need to run this boat. Only had an issue with the cabin AC freezing up. Turned off waited several hours and came back up. Had to clean the raw water filter. It picked up fine particles from the current. Hopefully that doesn't continue. It not fun to open the hatch, slow, and climb down. Punch list issues were very nominal. They do need some sort of cushion to the trash and sink lids. They slam! I'm gonna try the soft side of velcro. Also kind of hard to get your finger in the slot to open. That design needs a little improvement. See some picks of the enclosures.

* Sorry for the deck brush. There's really no place to have it dry before putting it away.

Yay! That sounds fantastic tmuller! We configured our boat much like yours. A few questions if you don't mind:
1) Enclosure - can you send a few more pictures of the Macrolon enclosure? Also when it is all closed/zipped up does it make the cabin quieter? We noticed on the boat with the glass doors when you button it all up it gets very quiet while running. We loved the open cockpit feel but were still hopeful the Macrolon enclosure would allow the AC to work properly and also add al least a small amount of quieting while running for an enclosed feel 2) TV - have you tried projecting what's on the helm station to the salon TV? I think it would be great for passengers to see the boats location. I saw it done on the 38 XO and was wondering if that could be done on the 36 XO as well. 3) Engine performance - not sure where you are with your engine break in but have you had a chance to observe any top speed or mileage figures? 4) Punch list items - it might be helpful for other Regal owners to get a feel if there are any common items on your punch list. I have read reports of problems with latches and doors but nothing major.

Hi Steve, 1. Will send more pictures next week when I'm back. Not really quieter other than the sliding door. I'm in Florida and love the open feel of this boat. I love the macaroon enclosure. The one panel acts like a sliding door. Kept the AC in nice! 2. I did do that, but resolution is nothing like the chart.plotter, but it makes the guests feel like they are on a cruise ship. 3. We're not huge into speed so I never checked it. 4k rpm and ~30 kts with the 350hps. Glad I didn't buy the 425s. Has plenty of power. 4. Here is what I experienced. Not at all to bash Regal. It was nominal and they are addressing. I do think think the panel on the aft seat is not held in properly. One video I can't upload is the port platform cleat was not tightened.

I must also add the blended hot water shower wand was a pleasant surprise. A+, Just their supplier had it yellowed.

Thanks for the quick update. I also was pleased when I found the almost hidden aft shower in the bulkhead! Let us know if you find any other surprises! It almost looks like you can "roll-up" the Macrolan enclosure and tie it up to the aft hardtop area. Must be very exciting to have your boat.

Hello tmuller or other Regal owners: Can someone tell me if their Garmin displays came with this display cover from Regal or is this an aftermarket extra that you have to buy from Garmin?

For what its worth, my dual Garmin display on my 2020 38XO did not come with any covers. That always bothers me and I assumed there weren't any. Now I'm going to look those even exist from Garmin.

The picture I found online was from a random Regal dealership so that's why I assumed Regal provided those display covers. We'll see if any other Regal owners respond to this thread.

I have the large single Garmin. The cover is magnetic, but it doesn't hold it's own weight. It slides down.
Truly it's not exposed to full sun so don't think its an issue.
I am changing the thruster controller this weekend to the puck version from Lewmar. I'll post a separate thread on that.
