Apparently Fusion, by Garmin, will not let you upgrade firmware via bluetooth. On the fusion app, you can download it, but cannot transfer file to head unit. Anyone resolved this without pulling out the head unit to access the USB?

I see you have the Fusion RA670. Looks like that does not have the built in Wifi. My 38XO came with the RA770 which does. Only a few hundred $ difference so I wonder why Regal switched that on the 36? It would be nice if at least they gave you a choice.

What i did in my Sc35 after i upgraded to a 700 series head (it didnt have wifi built in, only wired ethernet) was to add an small ethernet wifi bridge module . (It feeds from the rear HU usb port ) .
Therefore now the Fusion connects via wifi to the Garmin Chartplotter that acts like the main boat router. My phone connects via BT and WIFI(through the Garmin) to the Fusion .
