2665. 2008 Regal commadore had a pump out and 1 hour later the tanks full again. And hasn't been used even. I turned off breaker to head and water pressure both and its filling up from somewhere , can't figure out . Is there a Sea cock or shut off valve for water intake somewhere ?

Assume you mean the black water tank? Who pumped it out? There isnt any other connections to a black water tank that I know of other than a vent line from the top of tank to a thru hull (the vent that everybody complains about the stink if you dont have a charcoal filter in line or havent change it in a year or more). Are you sure whomever pumped it out connected to the sewage tank pump out fitting on the side of your hull and you saw/heard sewage being sucked out??

Unless you have a gray water system installed (not typical) the only water filling it should be from the head. Did you physically check the tank with a light to see if its full? Or the gauge is just showing full? They are well known to be finicky at best. My fresh water tank shows 0 until I hit about 1/2 empty for instance. Even though I know its slap full. If you do have the gray water option than any water from any drain (sink/shower/etc) could be filling it. But you'd know if they were running so I'm leaning towards a faulty reading on the tank monitor.

Again, would be helpful to know where he is docked, fresh or salt water, and if a grey or black water holding tank. I agree, probably the sending unit on the black water tank defective/malfunctioning. He should go into the bilge/engine room area and see if tank is actually full or a defective level gauge showing full while the tank was just emptied. If is actually full go back to pump out dock, turn on level switch (our fresh and black water tank sending units/gauges have to be turned on manually to see the levels in both) and watch the gauge while tank being pumped out (again?).

Dont believe that toilet effluent would ever go to a "grey" water tank (as you have a pump out fitting that tank would be a "black" water tank). . Grey water is from sinks/showers/AC condensate and they usually (in our case) go to two "sump pumps" or directly out of the hull through "thru hull fittings" and not to any tank anywhere on the boat. So Regal said you have a grey water tank and that is where the toilets discharge into?? Are you sure they said a grey water tank and not a black water tank?
