I'm planning on adding extra lighting to my 2019 21OBX. Looking for feedback on what works well and what might not work so well. On the interior I'm thinking at least 3 additions to match the present 2 that came stock. One each pretty high up on the bulkheads in front seating areas to illuminate the area and not just the floor. A 3rd light to the port side area near the latch for the lazarette to light up the floor area there. And why not underwater lighting while I'm at it. I would like to hear from anyone that has extra lighting and the good/bad/ugly of it.

On my previous 1900, I added small color matched led lights to the bottom of the cup holders and I upgraded the fusion speakers to have the grill be lit up, that came out well.
I always remove the stock led lights (those blue ones) and I add a tri color led that I can cycle colors by toggling the switch.

Our 2015 2300 came with underwater transom lights; we purchased end of year from dealer stock. I must admit that you barely can see them because soon after launching, they are covered in marine growth and get gunked up pretty good. Takes a lot of care cleaning them each end of season. We wet slip all season; no lifts allowed in our state marina. Also, ours leaked like a sieve at first, until we took them apart and cleaned and rebedded them and sealed the hole where the wire penetrates the hull more effectively. If it were me, I’d forget about underwater lights; don’t see the purpose. I thought about cutting them off and sealing them over.

Both good inputs. Appreciate it. Somethings to think about.
