I have a 2005 2665 Commodore and have been getting water collecting in my vbirth storage areas. After a rain I see water under the bolster on the port side starting under the port side window and running to the front bulkhead. All of the side walls and window are dry but where the bolster meets the fiberglass seats is where the water is. I originally thought it was the port window but not certain if it isn’t the rubrail.
Just looking to see if anyone has any past experience or thoughts on this. I’m at a loss right now.
Thanks all

Have the same boat with the same problem caulked along rub rail but not sure that is the problem cause I now keep under roof. While doing some maintenace I had the bow in the weather for a month and the water was back. No evidence where it is dripping in. Though of maybe drawing a thick line with some caulk at the top of the storage bins under the seating to see if I can show evidence of water dripping across the caulk line. In the months time I had a few gallons of water in the storage bins. Your storage bins are open all the way around the v berth? Please keep me updated.

I had the same problem in my forward V-Berth for a 2007 2565 with a windless and anchor on the bow. I could not isolate where the water was coming from. Until washing my boat I noticed more water in the forward galley v-berth storage area. It was coming from the bow anchor locker. I cleaned it all out and used white Flex-Seal to coat the the inside of the anchor locker. It stopped the water leak. Hope this helps.
