You may or may not have a vent filter, but have to have a vent for system to work. Locate black water tank, follow small 1.5" hose out of there to a thru hull, and if filter it will be in that line. Why do you think you need to find filter?

Gofast24, Thanks for your reply. Holding tank vent thru hull is under the galley window forward starboard. Galley wraps around to mid ship and is enclosed in cherry wood. Filter has never been replaced and there is an odor when vacuflush pump cycles, even after holding tank gets a pump out and treated. All manuals are at home. But, I recall reading the vent filter is located BEHIND THE REFRIDERATOR! Thought I would check with the forum before defrosting and pulling the refrigerator. FYI ... the Sealand Dometic filter is PN 309311004 with 1.5" hose.
Thanks.

Gosh! Our filter, self installed, is above the aft berth bunk access door, just above black water tank. We can reach it when opening aft HVAC unit access door at head of bunks, port side. To check if you have a plugged filter, flush once, then slowly remove pump out port cover, if pressure, and woosh of air, that is signs of plugged filter. If no filter wont have that problem.
