I have a 2006 Regal 2200 BR. The exhaust blower for the engine compartment stopped working. I purchased a new one and went to install it, only to find that there was no voltage. According to the wiring diagram I have there should be a yellow #12 wire at the blower, it is there. Next was a orange/yellow wire on the fuse panel, again check. 12Vdc was present. the blower switch should have an orange/yellow on pin 2 and a yellow on pin 3. Hard to tell, a little too faded, but no voltage. The wiring here is a bit of a mess as previous owners have wired new thing as needed in no proper order or identification. The yellow wire at the switch looks to be bigger than the wire at the blower, but that could be insulation difference or my eyes. Does anyone know if there is another connection point between the blower and the switch? Does anyone know how to remove the switch from the panel? Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

I have an 2007 3760 and the blowers have two locations or a 3way switch so to speak. One blower switch is on the dash adjacent to the ignition key and the other is in the 12volt portion of the electrical panel in the salon. This switch is there so you can turn on the blowers before you start the generator. I hope this helps...thats the way my boat was set up

Thanks for the quick response, I only have 1 switch at the helm station. Any information helps. I fo the life of me cannot figure out how to remove the switch from the panel, very cramped and not obvious.

Check if there is a relay. My 33 has two blowers, 1 manual helm switch (like yours) and the blowers are also wired to start when generator runs. There is no mention of a relay in my owners manual but it is there. A double pole double throw relay but yours will be a single relay.

No fire extinguishers in the engine compartment and I don't believe there is a relay as there is only 1 switch position but will definitely look for one. Power is definitely not getting to the blower nor the switch, the ON light does not light. I am going back to the boat tomorrow and start unbundling wiring harnesses to see what is going where. Don't know how else to do it at this point. The connection to the fuse block has been moved, because the fuse position marked Blower has no fuse or connection.

Also make sure yo check the voltage at the blower to a good ground. You could have power and no ground.

Thank you all for your help. I was able to get the blower system fixed. There was 3 items bad, the biggest one was the blower itself. It was missing the impeller and the shaft was all rusty, it had been making noise but that is all the whole time we have owned the boat, we were very lucky and blessed. The wiring at the fuse block had been changed to a new location and the fuse was bad. Next the switch on the helm dash was defective. All replaced and working.

My blowers turn on automatically as well with gen set start up but you should turn blowers on before hand to ventilate. That's why regal put the switches down below as well.

Assume OP doesnt have gen, 2200 boat? We have a relay behind breaker panel in salon that turns on 2X blowers automatically when starting gen set. Stays on continuous while gen running. Replaced one blower a few years ago. Need good heavy duty blowers especially with gen set.

Glad OP was able to get his issue resolved. Attached is a common wiring diagram for blowers for boats with generators.

If your blowers stopped working don't just check for +12V when switch is on. Check ground connection too. My blowers stopped working and after going in circles for a while I found that they had a bad ground connection. I couldn't find the problem so I ran a new ground wire to one of the ground bars. Problem solved!
