We live where the boat stays in the water year round but getting some cooler nights. Most of the system is in the engine compartment which has a heater or cabin which stays above freezing. How do most people Winterize given there’s cockpit sinks, ice makers that can get below freezing

Up north we drain the water tanks, blow out all the lines with an air compressor through the shore water connection and then feed in non-toxic antifreeze until you see the pink come through the faucets. Air conditioners need to be done as well too.

Same basic boat and weather conditions here. The cockpit sink I just turn off potable water pump, open all hot and cold faucets/shower spray, anchor wash down and swim platform wash down hoses and let it all drain out as much as possible. The cockpit ice maker , with no water pressure and all other faucets still open , just let it cycle a few times and it will drain out most of the water in the small 1/4" plastic tube that feeds it. Haven't had any problems in 20 years. GO Dawg's
