I’m buying a used 2012 Regal 35 SC and am, of course, plotting out all the ways I can spend more on it. Most of what I am thinking about depends on having an NMEA 2000 network. So I’m trying to make sure this year/model has a backbone and also trying to figure out where I could wire things in. I think where the stereo head is should have a connection but can’t find a diagram to be sure. It may be obvious once I have the boat but I don’t want to randomly pull panels, etc if I don’t have to. One of my goals is using the TV near the helm to show dashboards and nav from a Raspberry Pi, for example. Any tips or help appreciated.

To close this out in case someone is curious about the answer, a 2012 Regal 35 SC does not have an NMEA network and the penta engine is not using NMEA 2000 connectors, so guess I get to build out the network…

Did you stumble across what year Regal started using the NMEA network for their boats? I'm sure it will vary model to model but the 35 SC should have been one of the earlier adopters.
